Well, I can think of a few :) but I'll keep quiet so as not to plant  
ideas...!

FWIW, I'd agree that TeXworks is nowhere near as mature and polished  
as TeXShop; that's hardly surprising if you consider that TS has been  
around -- and undergoing refinement -- for close to a decade, I think,  
whereas TW was first conceived in late 2007.

Note that TW is not aiming to compete with TS on the Mac; its primary  
purpose is to offer a reasonably "TeXShop-like" experience on non-Mac  
platforms.

BTW, if people want to continue this discussion, it would be better  
done on the TeXworks list, IMO. Or on the MacTeX list, if it's  
specifically about what gets included with MacTeX. But it's clearly  
off-topic for the XeTeX list.
