[XeTeX] tooltips in beamer with xelatex

Hi,

I’m looking for a way to make tooltips in a beamer presentation.
cooltooltips would be just great, but it seems not to be working with
XeLaTeX. Is there any other way to achieve this? I didn’t find anything
on the internet, so I would be very thankful for any suggestion.
(In my concrete case I have a variable in a formula and want to show the
definition of it in a tooltip.)
