[XeTeX] \lastlinefit---unpleasant feature

Hi,
Yesterday I discovered the \lastlinefit e-TeX extension working also in
XeTeX, which is very nice. But I wanted to use it in a rather special
paragraph: justified with the last line centered (such typesetting was
practiced in Polish books in captions and editorial pages before the
digital revolution). The parameters fulfill the conditions for applying
of the extended algorithm but the centering of the last line is spoiled
(both in old e-TeX and in XeTeX).
(An example below.)

Is there any chance for fixing this in XeTeX?

Best regards,
Grzegorz.

The example:
\documentclass{article}

\begin{document}

   \parindent0sp\relax
   \leftskip0sp plus 1fil\relax
   \rightskip0sp plus -1fil\relax
   \parfillskip0sp plus 2fil\relax

``The Dutch Ministry of Finance organized an
   architecture competition for which a selected group of architectural
   offices (unstudio, nox, …) and artists were invited, including
   myself [Stani Michiels]. The goal of the competition was not to
   design a building, but the new 5 euro commemorative coin with the
   theme 'Netherlands and Architecture'. The winner will be rewarded
   with a nice price, but most of all with the honor: his [or her!]
design will
   be realized and will be a legal coin within the Netherlands.''

\lastlinefit=1700
