[XeTeX] Error in recognizing fonts

Hi Alan:

Can you try this example?

\documentclass[11pt]{article}
\usepackage{xltxtra}

\setromanfont{ITC Officina Serif}
\setsansfont{ITC Officina Sans}
\newcommand\Testline{ABCD abcd 0123 that's all for me!}

\begin{document}

\Testline

\textit{\Testline}

\textbf{\Testline}

\textit{\textbf{\Testline}}

\textsf{\Testline}

\textsf{\textit{\Testline}}

\textsf{\textbf{\Testline}}

\textsf{\textit{\textbf{\Testline}}}

\end{document}

See if this works. You can use TTF fonts --- they work fine. About Type1
fonts, there was a recent discussion about their use in XeTeX ... but
I'm in the dark on that one. Maybe someone can give a "newbie's"
explanation to you about that. (Personally, I'm merely an experienced
beginner ... so such explanations are beyond my scope).

Hope that helps.
