[XeTeX] Japanese and English document

Someone on this list is working on a package called 'zhspacing' which takes care of spacing of kanji etc. Although the author intended the package for chinese, it does a very good job at Japanese too. As for ruby, the package nruby.sty can be made usable with zhspacing. Simply google 'zhspacing nruby' and an older discussion from this list will show up.

PS I don't know of zhspacing is already released. If not, the author can provide you with a download link, that's how I got the package.
