[XeTeX] Problem with font setting in Linux

The problem is solved by setting $OSFONTDIR.

Subject: [XeTeX] Problem with font setting in Linux



The following tex file works well in a Windows system, but not in Linux:
 
\documentclass{article} 
\begin{document}
\font\1="DejaVu Serif"
\1
This is OK.

\font\2="[DejaVuSerif.ttf]"
\2
This will give an error in Linux.
Why?
\end{document}
