Hello Matthew.

Charis and Doulos should include the characters you need:

http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?
site_id=nrsi&item_id=CharisSILfont
http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?
site_id=nrsi&item_id=DoulosSILfont

As Will wrote, it is better to type phonetic symbols directly and it
will make your work much easier; as you probably know, TIPA macros
are pretty hard to read. If you use a Mac, you can create a suitable
keyboard layout with Ukelele:

http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?site_id=nrsi&item_id=ukelele

Or one of these will correspond to your needs:

http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?site_id=nrsi&item_id=ipa-
sil_keyboard

About other systems than Mac OS X I do not know but other members of
the list will be able to help you.

Best wishes,

Yves
