[XeTeX] Hyphenating words with apostrophes in French

  Actually, it really is, and it's perfectly legitimate to use it in
place of the ASCII apostrophe for indicating elision (as, for instance,
in "it's" near the beginning of this sentence).  See the Unicode
Standard version 5.0, section 6.2, subsection "Apostrophes",
pp. 211-212.

  The issue is thus, as Jonathan says, to decide at what level the
U+2019 <-> U+0027 correspondence should be handled.
