[XeTeX] [XeLaTeX-MikTeX 2.7] compilation error with french characters

Ahaa, I see. I begin to understand how this thing works. Thanks for
your patience. ;O)

There's something I don't understand though... the log keeps
mentioning loading babel. See the provided attachments.
