[XeTeX] pstricks in xelatex

No that is not the problem. My log use stdin because I used the command
xelatex --output-driver="xdvipdfmx -vv" test-xetex which assembles the
two steps. You probably run first xelatex --no-pdf and then xdvipdfmx. 


(Just for the record: I tested the two-step way too and it fails with
the same error:

xdvipdfmx -vv test-xetex
<FONTMAP:dvipdfm.map><FONTMAP:cid-x.map>DVI C
46
test-xetex.xdv -> test-xetex.pdf
[1Error: /undefinedfilename in --run--)
....)
