[XeTeX] \verb* and verbatom*

   Hello,

   I have noticed that the \verb* command and the verbatim* environent do not  
produce the expected results with XeLaTeX. Ι have created a simple package 
that uses the ^^^^2423  Unicode character to get the expected result. Since 
I am not aware  whether someone else has done  this before,
I would really appreciate any information regarding this matter.
