[XeTeX] \usepackage[latin1]{inputenc} and xetex

No. Either save the file in ut8, or declare the encoding with 

\XeTeXinputencoding latin1 

(yes no braces (and put a space at the end after latin1)

?? what should that mean. It doesn't make sense to send random code.
Make complete minimal examples.
