Hi,

I have just upgraded my Linux distribution and now running OpenSuSE 10.3
x86_64. I installed texlive-xetex and texlive-bin-xetex and attempted
to process some of my old documents, but, unfortunately, noticed that
any attempt to access a font causes XeTeX to crash. A minimal testcase
document may look as follows:

\font\x="TimesNewRomanPSMT" at 10pt\x
blah
\bye

The callstack is probably not very useful for this case, but
nevertheless here it is:

Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.
#0 0x00005555555cbc38 in measure_native_node () from /usr/bin/xetex
(gdb) where
#0 0x00005555555cbc38 in measure_native_node () from /usr/bin/xetex

#8 0x00005555555ca82e in main () from /usr/bin/xetex

I have searched the web and found a similar problem described at an
Italian forum: http://www.guit.sssup.it/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=19858,
but the question remains unanswered there. So I am wondering,
if anybode else has experienced this problem.
