[XeTeX] Installing xetex in Linux

Do you really want to build it yourself or ”just“ use it? Then I would
really recommend to use texlive. There you have XeTeX without any
problems (as well as LuaTeX), no need to build anything etc.
You can download the installer here:
http://www.tug.org/texlive/

Also, most linux distributions have a package for texlive (often
out-of-date, but usable); that would be even easier to install.
