[XeTeX] Problem building XeTeX on Ubuntu 8.04

I updated XeTeX from svn source this morning and attempted to do ./build-xetex. The end of the log has this:

make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/sgmoye/xetex/Work/libs/xpdf/fofi'
### Running /usr/bin/make in /home/sgmoye/xetex/Work/libs/teckit
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.
### library build appears to have failed for teckit

What do I do now?
