[XeTeX] XeLaTeX and unicode footnote symbols

Robin has offered to make changes to footmisc, so I'm leaving xltxtra  
as it is. If you wish to use that package, it is straightforward to  
define a new set of footnote symbols based on either unicode  
characters or LICRs defined by xunicode.

I'm going to upload xltxtra to CTAN tonight. Thanks all for the  
feedback.
