Indeed, that's my fault.
There's no way you'd want the LM fonts without the tex-text mapping  
-- sorry!
For now, you can modify the .fd files as Apostolos has suggested.  
I'll get around to fixing that as soon as I can, but I'm going away  
for a couple of weeks.

(The problem with Peter's suggestion is that you lose the optical  
size features and that would be a pain to replicate with \setmainfont  
commands for such a huge range of sizes.)
