[XeTeX] fontspec and Italian babel

Very possibly, yes.
The ramifications do seem to be greater than I expected.
I haven't made up my mind one way or the other, yet.
On the other hand, it does make things easier for people newly coming  
to XeTeX who don't realise that the "default fonts" are very very  
basic if it was left at CM. We'll see how it goes, but I'm not  
opposed to switching back to only loading LM if requested.
