Yes, indeed it does! As the release note says on the Download page:
Release 0.994a is a minor bug-fix update to 0.994; it restores the  
ability to run on Panther (Mac OS X 10.3.x), corrects a problem with  
the letterspace attribute, applies letterspacing to the italic  
correction value, ***and updates the .cfg files for some LaTeX  
packages***.
