[XeTeX] Problem with tremas

Are you using hyperref? I think I've seen with hyperref vanish even  
the German ä, ö, ü ...

This works for me with Latin Modern:

What else are you using? Did you forget to switch on  
\defaultfontfeatures{Mapping=tex-text}?
