PostScript-flavored OpenType fonts, i.e. OpenType PS fonts such as the 
Minion Pro family from Adobe are cross-platform-compatible. Exactly the 
same file is used on Mac and Windows. The "versions" only differ in 
packaging, i.e. the way the fonts are distributed (as .zip or .sit, I 
believe).
