[XeTeX] Extra text with itemize? "(0).fd (0).fd ..."

I'm not sure indeed this can help, considering it's not how the list  
environment works :)
You might be thinking of

\begin{itemize}
   \item[—] one
   \item[—] two
\end{itemize}

but that's clearly sub-optimal.
There's a number of different methods of customising the list  
environments, I won't go into details here. Especially since the  
problem should have been fixed already :)
