Dear strepXeTeXperts,

I've been trying to use Minion MM with xetex. It works to some extent.
I can get variations along the optical axis. However, the other axes
don't work properly.

These work as expected:

\font\myfont="Minion MM Roman:weight=500; width=600; optical size=10"
at 12pt
\font\myfont="Minion MM Roman:weight=500; width=600; optical size=12"
at 12pt
\font\myfont="Minion MM Roman:weight=500; width=600; optical size=14"
at 12pt

However, these do not work:

\font\myfont="Minion MM Roman:weight=500; width=600; optical size=12"
at 12pt
\font\myfont="Minion MM Roman:weight=550; width=600; optical size=12"
at 12pt
\font\myfont="Minion MM Roman:weight=600; width=600; optical size=12"
at 12pt

The second two produce identical output.

In general, I cannot seem to get any interpolation along the weight or
width axes. I just get one extreme or the other. Moreover, which
extreme I get is very hard to predict.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this a problem with xetex? Or is it a
problem with ATSUI?

Best wishes,

Jonathan Nicholl
