[XeTeX] Footnotes

Dear Jonathan,

Thank you for previous help. I am using XeTeX with ConTeXt. I have a
small file using the font Gentium. I am quoting Sanskrit words in Latin
transliteration and I can get all the diacritical marks just fine.
However when I use the footnote command the footnote is set in what
seems to be computer modern not Gentium. It is the same if I use
Hoefler. If I switch to Gentium font (say at 8pt) within the footnote
braces I get the footnote set in Gentium. This is a chore if every
footnote has to have the font switch. Am I doing something very silly?
Any advice would be appreciated. The more I use your programme the more
I enjoy it.

PS I inserted a footnote into your sample XeLaTeX file zola_faute.tex
and the footnote was set in Zapfino.

Thanks again,
Charlie Doherty
