[XeTeX] pfaedit

Hi,

There are a few .pfb fonts which I would like to use systemwide, and I
understand that by turning them into .otf files, they can be used as
such, and pfaedit can do just that.

So I installed the package via i-Installer, but the terminal does not
recognize pfaedit ?

Must I do something else?

Is there in any case an alternative way? (I tried FontLab which works
well - but in demo mode it only saves 20 glyphs, and I am not going to
spend 500$ for just a single set of conversions).
