Very impressive, Will, just in the amount of work it must have taken to
put all those features into a common framework! 

Reading through your nice manual, I have a couple observations and questions:

Book Antiqua (for better or worse) is Mac OS X's Palatino clone. Did the
Mac OS9/iDVD version of Palatino actually have AAT features?

What's the difference between Character Alternates and Variants to the
end user? Variants might be expressed in OpenType fonts with the ss01-
ss20 stylistic sets (or, frustratingly, in xx01, etc. features).

I suspect that \addspecs is going to be your next killer feature. I've
been focusing on that one for ConTeXt support.
