[XeTeX] XeTeX release 0.7 available

I think xelatex will now work too.... because in running it, even with  
the errors, you created a test.aux in the current directory, and now  
that one gets found instead of the one in your ~/Library/texmf/...

Have you retried xelatex? Have you tried deleting ./test.aux and then  
running pdflatex?
