Maybe I am just really dense, but my
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.local/context/config/ doesn't have a
texexec.ini it has a texexec.rme and that file has no line like
for tetex set TeXPassString to -progname=context
--default-translate-file=cp8bit
I also did texexec --verbose and it indicated that it was using
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.tetex/context/config/texexec.ini which has
no line like the above. I just updated my GWTeX install today and
updated Context through i-Installer as well. I also downloaded
http://www.pragma-ade.nl/context/current/cont-tmf.zip and looked at the
texexec.ini in there it does not seem to have the
for tetex set TeXPassString to -progname=context
--default-translate-file=cp8bit
line. What am I missing? It is probably something stupid, but I think
I've checked about everything I can.
I did get a warning that the version of Context in GWTeX was 2004.10.24
and that the version I just installed 2004.11.28 would be used, but
this does not seem to be the case if the texexec.ini is coming from
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.tetex/context/config/.
