[twg-tds] new package use - achemo

I am trying to use a new package, vis a vis achemo in Kile.  I downloaded
the package from ACS website and put it into
/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/achemo/tex/latex...but /usepackage{achemo} is not
recognized by Kile. Could any one help in using this package?
