tex/generic vs. tex/images

Remember we were talking about using texmf/tex/images for image files,
since they're format-independent.

But this would mean complicating the paths, since everything would have
to include both texmf/tex/generic and texmf/tex/images.

How about texmf/tex/generic/images/*.eps? (Or maybe this is what we
settled on? There were a lot of proposals flying around.)

This seems more natural to me. Analogous to hyphen/, etc.
