Dear Alexander,

Find the below coding for your requirement:

\begin{table}
\setlength{\tabcolsep}{2pt}
\begin{tabular}{ccccc}
\hline
\raisebox{-1.5ex}[0cm][0cm]{Subject}&\multicolumn{2}{c}{Student
1}&\multicolumn{2}{c}{Student 2}\\*\cline{2-5}*
&Mean&SD&Mean&SD\\\hline
\end{tabular}
\end{table}

If you want to give the horizontal line for specific cells, you may use the
command \cline{in which row starts - in which row ends}(see e.g.)
