Not it you want to make use of the TeXlive CD.  The TeXlive CD
contains a different TeX distribution: fpTeX.

I would suggest that you first try working with what you got.  If you
feel this does not satisfy you, you can ask people that know about
both systems of whether your particular problems might be better
tractable with MikTeX.
