[Tuglist] Footer in LaTeX

Hello.

`LaTeX - A Documentation System' says that the TeX command \footline is
substituted with LaTeX's footnote-making commands. Which command does this?
I have only seen the commands in fancyhdr package. Are there some other
commands that set the footer?
