   Can anybody kindly help me in installing the "MathTime" fonts.

1. Create the following directories:

   (i)  $TEXMF/fonts/type1/bh/mt
   (ii) $TEXMF/fonts/tfm/bh/mt

2. copy *.pfb (*.pfa and *.pfm if available) to the dir (i).

3. copy *.tfm to the dir (ii)

4. the *.vf (virtual fonts) should be available if you use TeXLive
   or teTeX, if not grab them from CTAN and put in the directory:

  $TEXMF/fonts/vf/bh/mt

5. Add a line to the file $TEXMF/dvips/config/config.ps

   +map mt.map (or mathtime.map or whatever depending
                on your TeX implementation)

6. *.fd and *.sty files for mathtime should be available in your
   TeX system if you're using TeXLive or else grab from CTAN
   and put in the directory:

   $TEXMF/tex/latex/psnfss

7. Run texhash (or whatever depending on your implementation)

8. Create a document:

   \documentclass{article}
   \usepackage{mathtime}

   \begin{document}

   $$(\alpha+\beta)^2=\alpha^2+\beta^2+2\alpha\beta$$

   \end{document}

   and save it as foo.tex

9. Run LaTeX on foo.tex and view foo.dvi, which should show the math
   symbols in mathtime font. While viewing the document, TeX should
   create the mathtime pk fonts on the fly.

10. If you fail to see the math symbols in mathtime fonts, you have
    faltered in any one of the above steps.

11. If you happen to report back any problems, please send all
    the relevant logs.
