It's true on my Arch Linux box (Dependencies not counted)

   $ pacman -Qi poedit | grep 'Installed Size'
   Installed Size : 3476.00 K

   $ pacman -Qi gtranslator | grep 'Installed Size'
   Installed Size : 11316.00 K
