WHy not make a proper library for that and we include it int TeX Live?

I think it would help other people, too, if there is a defined
way to at least read out the values from a tlpdb with a python
library.

Actually, there is already on from Adam Maxwell, in
	tlpkg/dev/python/parse_tlpdb.py

WOndering why the wheel is reinvented again ;-)
