Jonathan checked in the XeTeX changes, which will affect xetex and
I have just checked in one further xetex fix, correcting a bug that was reported on Mac OS X but could potentially affect other platforms as well. The thread "Strange problem with 0.996 and 0.9995 xetex and File Names" on the xetex mailing list yesterday/today describes the problem, for anyone curious. (Apostolos reported a crash on OpenSolaris that may well have been caused by the same underlying issue.)
The patch is checked in to TL r.15135 (xetex will now report its version as 0.9995.2); it would be great if the rebuilds could pick up this fix as well.
Sorry for the timing, but this only just got reported (though the bug has existed since 2006!).
