I have problems ATM with xz under x86_64-linux.  The current version
of xz requires GLIBC_2.17 but I have GLIBC_2.15.  Hence "tlmgr update"
always fails.

The other binaries in bin/x86_64-linux and bin/i386-linux seem to work,
as well as tlpkg/installer/xz/xz.i386-linux.

Since I can conveniently switch between 32 bit and 64 bit binaries
I'll use i386-linux in oder to update TL for the time being.

Norbert, you obviously uploaded the binaries for Debian but I suppose
that xz was compiled by Karl on the TUG server under CentOS Linux 7.
Right?  At least I get

   kotucha at tug:~ $ /lib64/libc.so.6 --version
   GNU C Library (GNU libc) stable release version 2.17, [...]
