I am working on book project and I tried to run the new xelatex on this project:

Output file removed.

This is unexpected behavior! I have built xetex with the flags for
solving the upmendex problem. BTW, I just replaced

/usr/local/texlive/2015/bin/x86_64-pc-solaris2.11/xetex

with the new xetex binary, deleted the format file in

$HOME/.texlive2015/texmf-var/web2c/xetex

and run xelatex normally. After restoring xetex to xetex.2015
and deleting the format file, compilation finished as expecting
after recreating the xelatex format file.

Is its possible that I have done something extremely stupid and
this the reason the binary is not working properly?
