[tlbuild] asy build error

Hi everyone,

I am trying to build asy on x86_64 ina minimal Debian/stable chroot,
but it fails:
g++ -Wall -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -DUSEGC  -pthread -g -O3 -ansi -fno-var-tracking  -I . -Igc-7.2b/include -o interact.o -c interact.cc
interact.cc: In function 'char* interact::readpipeline(const char*)':
interact.cc:94: error: 'strlen' was not declared in this scope

that is with gcc 4.4.5

Any idea?
