Sorry. I asked to increase glob_str_size in texmf.cnf,
since a user reported that he encountered an error in
bibtex for a very long author string.
My test of bibtex was ok, but I didn't test bibtex8.
Karl, Peter, please decrease glob_str_size to a suitable number.
