Thanks Jonathan. I'll try it as soon as I can, but for some reason today I can't get it to build even '--without-xetex':

pdftosrc.cc:26:19: aconf.h: No such file or directory

I'm going to rsync everything all over again and I'll post back here when that's done and built, at least to some level.
