    It came from either the Master svn checkout or the build (if it makes

There is a big difference between the two.  The former I actually
maintain and want to work; the latter is more or less random.
Does anyone actually use it?  Maybe the build shouldn't create it.

In any case, try using the one from Master/texmf/web2c/ instead.
