I'm always happy to hear this :).<br>

Unfortunately, I don't have a Mac to test this with. On Linux,
everything seems to work fine with the following minimum example:<br>
<style type="text/css">
p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; }
</style>
<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px;">\documentclass{article}</p>
<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px;">\usepackage{pdfcomment}</p>
<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px;">\begin{document}</p>
<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px;">\pdfcomment{Test}</p>
<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px;">\end{document}</p>
<br>
*) Does this minimal example cause the hang for you?<br>
*) In your tests, does the hang occur as soon as any part of the
page becomes visible (even if the annotation itself is not yet on
screen)?<br>
*) In your tests, which page layout (continuous or single page, zoom
to width/zoom to page/... did you use)?<br>
<br>
Best,<br>
