I installed a new computer (intel nuc5i5ryh) with Ubuntu 15.04 ,
texlive2014, and texworks (this configuration worked for years with
an old computer, os, texlive and texworks).<br>

I cannot find how to make changes in texworks configuration
(perhaps tell it to take xpdf or similar) to open the file,<br>
or give xelatex the option to produce a .dvi file.<br>
And what happens in the first case with document synchronisation?
<br>

Even if one suppresses in the texworks configuration "show pdf
file", it crashes with the same fault.<br>
<br>
One final remark: at the installation of texlive i had the symlink
button active. But all the<br>
terminal tests (as described in the texlive installation manual)
did work fine.</div>
