You should be able to work around this by setting the TW_DICPATH
environment variable. E.g., try the following on the command line:<br>
TW_DICPATH="/usr/share/myspell" && texworks<br>

If that works for you, you can check how to persistently add/edit
environment variables for your Linux distro.<br>
