The assessment that TeXworks development is not moving forward as rapidly as it could is spot-on. However, I don't know if a "governance model" is really at the top of our list of needs at the moment. That isn't to say that it wouldn't be beneficial to have dedicated administrative and financial resources to draw on, but I believe our current problem is a lack of manpower/womanpower, not a lack of organization. One needs only look at the issue tracker to see the evidence of this---there is a long list of tickets that are open requesting new features or bugfixes but there are no tickets that have attached patches that fix bugs or implement features. We have a lot of users, but few developers.<div>
