I'd like to correct my earlier post with the above title.<br><br>The problem is NOT with Texworks but seems to be with the pdfLaTeX that comes with MikTex 2.8. <br><br>With MikTeX 2.8 TeXnicCenter will also generate A4 (even if I specify Lettersize), but will generate the correct lettersize if I use MikTeX 2.7. <br>
