somehow the package<br>
<font color="#3366ff">\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc} </font><br>
information is not distributed down to the iput files like <br>
<font color="#3333ff">\input abstract1</font> .<br>
<br>
As an instant, letters äöüõ are processed normally in the mother
file 'Paper1.tex' but yield error messages if located in the
'abstract1.tex'. <br>
The tex source files as well as the log-file are enclosed for your
convenience.<br>
