[texworks] Texworks 2015 Windows auto spellcheck underline not working

So this is a display issue with the highlighting. Does other
highlighting (e.g., blue \TeX commands) work?

Also, can you check if this problem also occurs if you use the
"official" Tw binary from http://tug.org/texworks/ instead of the one
bundled with TeX Live (note that you will need to copy/move the
dictionaries to a different folder)?

No, that will not be necessary. You can always use the "official" binary
(current, older, or experimental versions) instead of the one provided
by TL, so there is no need to downgrade the whole distro.
